Edward Li

Co-Founder | Chief Encourager

Edward is Barnabas Robotics' CEO and Chief Encourager.   He has worked in technology start-ups since 2005, where he began as a hardware engineer and later transitioned to business development in the commercial robotics industry.  He has extensive experience leading teams in design, operations, and business development in domestic and international markets.  In 2014, Edward left the commercial robotics industry to co-found Barnabas Robotics to empower youth and share a message of hope through technology and education.  He received his B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

 

Victoria Lin

Co-Founder | General Counsel & Director of Operations

Victoria oversees Barnabas Robotics' business/legal affairs, client relations, and day-to-day operations.  Prior to co-founding the company, she practiced as a civil litigator at a national law firm and counseled for-profit companies, nonprofit organizations, and government entities on a variety of employment- and consumer-related legal matters.  She enjoys working with businesses and individuals to develop innovative, practical systems and solutions to address issues affecting our communities.  Victoria received her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and her J.D. from the University of Southern California Law School.

 

Kate Chung

Director of Finance

Kate manages Barnabas Robotics' finances and serves as the company's liaison with school/institutional clients.  As a licensed CPA, Kate has extensive knowledge and experience counseling companies on financial and tax matters and assisting with general business administration.  Her business expertise is in advising social ventures and non-profit companies on internal finance processes and tax issues.  Kate received her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Eric Lin

Instructor & Robot Inventor

Eric is a part of Barnabas Robotics' teaching and development team.  Prior to joining the company, Eric was a participant in CalTeach – a program of the University of California's Science and Math Initiative that supports future S.T.E.M. teachers.  Eric has extensive experience tutoring students of various ages in S.T.E.M. subjects and teaching robotic classes to students ages 5-18.  Eric shares Barnabas Robotics’ vision of an open source community, the desire to experiment, and the joy of teaching and empowering others.  He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.S. in Physics.

Andrew Pilcher

Instructor & Robot Inventor

Andrew began his technical career in the printing industry when the phrase "cut and paste" was taken literally.  Since then, Andrew has worked in CAD/CAM manufacturing, software programming, and web development.  Additionally, he spent several years tutoring mathematics to students in grades 2 to 12, which is when he discovered his love for teaching and his passion for bridging technology with education.  Andrew now brings his wealth of knowledge and experience to Barnabas Robotics' classes.

Ling Leng

Business/Technology Specialist

Ling joined Barnabas Robotics in 2017 as part of the company's professional training program.  With a combined interest in business and technology, Ling currently serves as a valuable member of the company's administrative, production, development, and consulting teams.  He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering & Automation from Shanghai Maritime University and a M.S. in Applied Finance from Pepperdine University.

Vaneh Boghosian

Robot Inventor & Production Intern

Vaneh first joined the company as a participant in the Barnabas Innovation Group (B.I.G.), where she developed an open-source engineering project for inner-city youth to learn about robotics and technology.  As a student of computer science and engineering herself, Vaneh brings her technical skills and her love for learning and teaching others to the Barnabas Robotics team.  She is a valuable member of the company's production and development teams.
